How long can I keep a book borrowed through Interlibrary Loan?

Answer

The loan period for Interlibrary Loan materials (books, scores, DVDs, CDs) is set by the library that owns the item, not by Reed Library.

You can check due dates and request renewals in three ways:

  • In person at the Circulation Desk

  • By phone at 716-673-3184

  • Online through Reed Library’s homepage:

    1. Go to LibraryCard.
    2. If prompted, select Fredonia Students, Faculty, Staff.
    3. Log in using your Fredonia eServices username and password.
(If you're not sure what that is, log into Your Connection and check under "Personal Information.")
    4. Once signed in, click Loans in the top menu.
    5. You'll see a list of everything you have checked out.
    6. Click Renew next to any item you want to keep longer.
